The department of the glaciology of Institute of geography from 04.08.2018 to 12.08.2018 was visited by journalists from the New York Times: Fontain Henry Charles and Solomon Benjamin Charles in order to prepare materials for the publication of glaciological studies in Kazakhstan. Journalists climbed to the Tuyksu Glacier high-mounting station of the Institute of geography to become familiar with scientific research and the work of employees of the department of glaciology in field conditions.
