March 28, 2017.The Institute of Geography visited the regional representative for environment, science, technology and health in Central Asia of the US Embassy Robyn McCutcheon.
Ms. McCutcheon got acquainted with the scientific directions of the Institute of Geography and conducted research, incl. degree of implementation of GIS technologies. Particular interest was the issue of the creation of a Central Asian regional glaciological center under the auspices of UNESCO.
