On November 29, 2019, Mr. Sergey Gromov, Vice minister of ecology, geology and natural resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Mr. Turlubek Arman Alashevich, Chairman of the Committee on Water Resources, made a working visit to the LLP «Institute of Geography».
During the meeting with leading scientists of the Institute of Geography, Mr. Sergey Gromov and Mr. Turlubek A. A. visited laboratories and were introduced to the main scientific activities of the Institute.
Of particular interest to Vice minister of ecology, geology and natural resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Chairman of the Committee on Water Resources were the developments of the Institute of Geography on water issues and, above all, on water security. The work was approved by Vice minister of ecology, geology and natural resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Chairman of the Committee on Water Resources.
