On April 30, 2020, an online presentation of the UN World Report on the state of water resources for 2020 "Water resources and climate change" was held. It was organized by the UNESCO Office in Almaty together with the Public Foundation "Center for promoting sustainable development" and the Central Asian regional network for capacity building in the field of water resources CAR@WAN. The report “The Impact of Climate Change on Water Resources in Kazakhstan and Proposed Measures to Adapt to Climate Change and Mitigate Its Consequences” was made by L.S. Toleubayeva, Head of the Department of sufficiency of water supply of natural-economic systems and mathematical modeling, JSC «Geography and water safety institute» of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Geographical Sciences, Laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of science and technology named after al-Farabi 2019.
